Results of the 2020 Population Census Long Form, Halmahera Barat Regency

INDONESIA is a country with enormous potential. In terms of population, Indonesia is the largest countryfourth in the world after China, India and the United States. With the right strategy, residents as a potential resourcecan become the strength of the nation to realize the ideals of an advanced Indonesia.In 2022, exactly one decade of Indonesia's demographic bonus, BPS is committed to completing the mandate to implementAdvanced Population Census (Long Form SP2020) with various challenges amid the Covid-19 pandemic. By the permission of God YangAlmighty accompanied by the hard work of all parties, the Long Form SP2020 data collection has been completed.Long Form SP2020 carries a big mission as a Benchmark for Indonesian population indicators, a Portrait of Indonesian Demographics afterpast the 2nd wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic, evaluate development achievements in the population sector in the SDGs and RPJMN,as well as being the basis for determining Indonesia's development policies towards Golden Indonesia 2045.Even though it was carried out in the midst of a pandemic, there were several innovations implemented in the Long Form SP2020, one of which wasis the use of various modes of data collection (PAPI, CAPI, CATI, and CAWI). For the first time Computer Assisted TelephoneInterviewing (CATI) is applied in the history of the population census in Indonesia.The journey of implementation and results of the Long Form SP2020 is briefly presented in the Long Outcome Population Indicators bookletSP2020 forms. This booklet presents a comprehensive picture of the state of Indonesia's population based on the results of the Long FormSP2020. Basic data coverage of the Long Form SP2020 results are indicators of fertility, mortality, mobility, disability,education, and housing. The provision of demographic parameters and population characteristics is expected to be able toproduce indicators to monitor and evaluate the achievement of SDGs and RPJMN targets in the population sector.We thank all those who have participated in the preparation of this booklet.
